Regenerative Revival: A Celebration of Farmers, Food, and Family
May 3, 2025
Join Soil Regen on May 3, 2025, at Barrow Brewing Company and Soil Regen for the Regenerative Revival: A Celebration of Farmers, Food, and Family. This unique event is dedicated to honoring the farmers and ranchers who nourish our nation while highlighting the essential connection between soil health, nutrient-dense food, and regenerative agriculture.

The day will begin with a vibrant Farmers Market from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, where attendees can shop for fresh, regeneratively grown produce and artisanal goods directly from local farmers and producers. Inside Barrow Brewing Company, Dr. Trish Jackson will kick off the morning at 11 am with opening remarks, introducing the concept of regenerative agriculture and its impact on food quality. A Farmer Panel Discussion, led by Dr. Jackson, will feature local farmers discussing soil health, profitability, and community impact. At 1:15 PM, Shelby Beyer will deliver the keynote presentation, “Soil Health = Food Health: The Science Behind Nutrient Density,” exploring the connections between soil microbiology, plant health, and human nutrition.

From noon to 2 PM, guests can enjoy an Open-Fire Culinary Showcase, featuring Brandon Rhyder, Joey Machado and Vincent Alexander, who will prepare dishes featuring regenerative meats and locally sourced vegetables over open-fire grills. These unique, high-quality plates will be available for $25 each pre-sale, $35 at the event.

Live music starts at 11:00 AM in the scenic outdoor setting of Barrow Brewing Company, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and community connection. At 2:30 PM, Soil Health Demonstrations, presented by NRCS experts, will provide hands-on learning experiences showcasing the impact of regenerative practices on soil structure, biology, and nutrient cycling.

All day long, attendees can engage with local farmers, sample fresh products, and learn more about regenerative agriculture while enjoying craft beer made with regenerative malt from Root Shoot Malting Company in Loveland, Colorado. The event will serve as a platform to connect food, soil, and community, offering a full day of education, delicious food, and celebration.
